Three-way switching valve refers to a valve device with three ports in the valve body, one in and two out, (left in, right and bottom out). The most obvious difference in appearance between the three-way switching valve and the two-way valve is that there is one more flow port. The three-way valve is mainly used to change the flow direction of the medium. It has the functions of cut-off, regulation, diversion, prevention of backflow, voltage regulation, shunt or overflow. It can be divided into confluence valve and diverter valve.

The six-way switching valve is derived from the three-way switching valve. It is used more and more widely in large power generation enterprises, and the valve structure types are also various, each with its own characteristics. Since most of the six-way switching valves are installed in important process systems, accidents will cause serious equipment accidents and economic losses.
