Three-way switching valve refers to a valve device with three ports in the valve body, one in and two out, (left in, right and bottom out). The most obvious difference in appearance between the three-way switching valve and the two-way valve is that there is one more flow port. The three-way valve is mainly used to change the flow direction of the medium. It has the functions of cut-off, regulation, diversion, prevention of backflow, voltage regulation, shunt or overflow. It can be divided into confluence valve and diverter valve.
The six-way switching valve is derived from the three-way switching valve.
